Charge Air Cooler Inlet Hose Replacement 2.0L Diesel LLW

Removal Procedure
  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement.

    3. Object Number: 2028270 Size: SH
  3. Remove the charge air cooler inlet hose bolt (1).

    4. Object Number: 2028271 Size: SH
  4. Remove the charge air cooler inlet hose clamp bolt (1).

    5. Object Number: 2028272 Size: SH
  5. Remove the charge air cooler inlet hose clamp (3).
  6. Remove the charge air cooler inlet hose (2) from the turbocharger (1).

    7. Object Number: 2028273 Size: SH
  7. Remove the charge air cooler inlet hose (1) from the radiator (2).

    8. Object Number: 2028274 Size: SH
  8. Remove the charge air cooler inlet hose (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2028274 Size: SH
  1. Install the charge air cooler inlet hose (1).

    2. Object Number: 2028273 Size: SH
  2. Install the charge air cooler inlet hose (1) to the Radiator (2).

    3. Object Number: 2028272 Size: SH
  3. Install the charge air cooler inlet hose (2) to the turbocharger (1).
  4. Install the charge air cooler inlet hose clamp (3).

    5. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2028271 Size: SH
  5. Install the charge air cooler inlet hose clamp bolt (1) and tighten to  10 N·m (89 lb in).

    6. Object Number: 2028270 Size: SH
  6. Install the charge air cooler inlet hose bolts (1) and tighten to  10 N·m (89 lb in).
  7. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Replacement.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
