EN 6623 Installer

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools.

1. Position the NEW crankshaft rear oil seal.

1.1.	Position the crankshaft rear oil seal in such a way that the crankshaft rear oil seal housing is over the corresponding cut-out on the cylinder block.

Note: Do not press in the seal ring all the way.

1.2.	Slide the crankshaft rear oil seal over the crankshaft. Push, until the crankshaft rear oil seal is flush and sits evenly in the cylinder block.

2. Using the EN 6623 installer , install the crankshaft rear oil seal (1).

2.1.	Tighten the 3 bolts (2).

2.2.	Press the crankshaft rear oil seal all the way in.

2.3.	Install the bolt (3).

3. Remove the EN 6623 installer .
4. Remove the 3 bolts.



5. Install the crankshaft position sensor (2) to the crankshaft rear oil seal housing (3).

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

6. Install the crankshaft position sensor bolt (1) and tighten to  5 N·m (44 lb in).
