Special Tools

CH-49290 Engine Support Fixture

For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools.

1. Remove the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement.
2. Raise the vehicle.
3. Install the CH-49290 engine support fixture . Refer to Engine/Transmission Mounting.
4. Lower the vehicle.



5. Remove the left transmission mount bracket bolts (1).



6. Remove the left transmission mount bolts (1) from the transmission mount bracket (2).



7. Remove the left transmission mount to body bolts (1).
8. Remove the left transmission mount to body nut (2).
9. Remove the transmission mount (3) from the vehicle.

1. Install the transmission mount (3) to the vehicle.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

2. Install the transmission mount to body bolts (1) and tighten to  62 N·m (46 lb ft).
3. Install the transmission mount to body nut (2) and tighten to  62 N·m (46 lb ft).



4. Install the left transmission mount bolts (1) to the transmission mount bracket (2) and tighten to  xx N·m (xx lb ft).



5. Install the left transmission mount bracket bolts (1) and tighten to  62 N·m (46 lb ft).
6. Raise the vehicle.
7. Remove the CH-49290 engine support fixture . Refer to Engine/Transmission Mounting.
8. Lower the vehicle.
9. Install the battery tray. Refer to Battery Tray Replacement.
