Air Conditioning Condenser Replacement 2.0L Diesel LLW

1. Recover the refrigerant. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
2. Disconnect battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
3. Remove front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Air Deflector Replacement.



4. Remove air intake duct.
5. Remove radiator grille support. Refer to Radiator Support Replacement.
6. Remove A/C compressor and condenser hose from condenser. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Replacement.



7. Remove condenser hose bolt and condenser hose (1, 2).
8. Remove A/C refrigerant pressure sensor. Refer to Air Conditioning (A/C) Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Replacement.



9. Remove condenser.

1. Install condenser.
2. Install A/C refrigerant pressure sensor. Refer to Air Conditioning (A/C) Refrigerant Pressure Sensor Replacement.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




3. Install condenser hose and condenser hose bolt.

Tighten
X N·m(X lb in).

4. Install A/C compressor and condenser hose from condenser. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor and Condenser Hose Replacement.
5. Install radiator grille support. Refer to Radiator Support Replacement

.




6. Install air intake duct.
7. Install front bumper fascia. Refer to Front Bumper Fascia Air Deflector Replacement.
8. Connect battery negative cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
9. Evacuate and charge the refrigerant system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging.
