Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 1889700  Size: SH
  1. Remove the air mass flow sensor wiring harness plug (1).
  2. Caution: Any time service is being performed which requires removal of the air cleaner assembly, always cover the throttle body opening. This will prevent any foreign material from entering the engine.

  3. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Front Duct Replacement.

  4. Object Number: 2027413  Size: SH
  5. Remove the front air cleaner housing drain hose (1) from air cleaner housing (3).
  6. Remove the rear air cleaner housing drain hose (2) from air cleaner housing (3).

  7. Object Number: 2027414  Size: SH
  8. Remove the air cleaner assembly (1).
  9. Unclip the air cleaner housing (1) from the front bracket (3) and rear bracket (2).

  10. Object Number: 2027415  Size: SH
  11. Loosen the air mass flow sensor clamp (2).
  12. Remove the air mass flow sensor (1) from the air cleaner housing (3).
  13. Remove the 2 intake air duct resonator insulators (4).
  14. Remove the rear intake air duct sealing (5).

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 2027415  Size: SH
  1. Install the rear intake air duct sealing (5).
  2. Install the 2 intake air duct resonator insulators (4).
  3. Install the air mass flow sensor (1) at the air cleaner housing (3).
  4. Fasten the air mass flow sensor clamp (2) and tighten with 3.5 N·m(31 lb in).

  5. Object Number: 2027414  Size: SH
  6. Install the air cleaner assembly (1).
  7. Install the air cleaner housing (1) at the front bracket (3) and rear bracket (2).

  8. Object Number: 2027413  Size: SH
  9. Install the rear air cleaner housing drain hose (2) at air cleaner housing (3).
  10. Install the front air cleaner housing drain hose (1) at air cleaner housing (3).
  11. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Front Duct Replacement.
