Makes 🢒 Daewoo 🢒 2009 🢒 Lacetti (Global Delta) 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Exhaust 🢒 Oil Pan Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Open the hood.
  2. Raise the vehicle by its full height. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  3. Place collecting basin underneath.
  4. Remove the oil drain bolt.
  5. Collect the engine oil.

    6. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  6. Install the NEW seal ring and the oil drain bolt, tighten to  8 N·m (71 lb in).
  7. Lower the vehicle by its full height.
  8. Remove the oil level indicator tube. Refer to Oil Level Indicator Tube Replacement.
  9. Raise the vehicle by its full height.
  10. Remove the front compartment splash shield. Refer to Front Compartment Splash Shield Replacement.
  11. Remove the exhaust flexible pipe. Refer to Exhaust Flexible Pipe Replacement.
  12. Disconnect the oil level sensor wiring harness plug.

  13. Remove the 3 oil pan bolts (1, 2) from the transmission.

    14. Object Number: 2027008 Size: SH

    Note: Remove the oil pan evenly all the way around with a suitable tool.

  14. Remove the 13 oil pan bolts (1) and remove the oil pan (2).

    15. Object Number: 2028080 Size: SH

    Note: Use a screwdriver or another suitable tool.

  15. To prevent damage to the oil screen, ensure that the oil screen (2) remains in the oil pan (3). If the oil screen gets caught on the cylinder block (1), push it into the oil pan.
  16. Remove the oil pan.

Installation Procedure
  1. Clean the sealing surfaces.

    2. Object Number: 1944491 Size: SH
  2. Apply an approximately 3.5 mm (0.14 in) thick bead of oil pan sealant to the joints (arrows).

    3. Object Number: 1944480 Size: MF

    Note: The assembly time including torque check must take no longer than 10 minutes.

  3. Apply an approximately 3.5 mm (0.14 in) thick bead of oil pan sealant (1) as illustrated.

    4. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2027008 Size: SH
  4. Install the 13 oil pan bolts (1) to the oil pan (2) and tighten to  10 N·m (89 lb in).

    5. Object Number: 2027007 Size: SH
  5. Install the 3 oil pan bolts (1, 2) to the transmission and tighten to  40 N·m (30 lb ft).
  6. Connect the engine oil level sensor wiring harness plug.
  7. Install the exhaust flexible pipe. Refer to Exhaust Flexible Pipe Replacement.
  8. Install the front compartment splash shield. Refer to Front Compartment Splash Shield Replacement.
  9. Lower the vehicle by its full height.
  10. Install the oil level indicator tube. Refer to Oil Level Indicator Tube Replacement.

    11. Note: Inspect the engine oil level and correct if necessary

    .

  11. Refill the collected engine oil.
  12. Close the hood.
