1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement .

Rear Bumper Fascia Center Bracket Screw (Qty: 2)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Rear Bumper Fascia Center Bracket

Tip
Disconnect the rear license plate electrical harness from the rear bumper fascia bracket prior to removing the bracket.

High Mounted Stop Lamp Screw (Qty: 2)

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

High Mounted Stop Lamp Assembly

Procedure
Remove the high mounted stop lamp from the rear bumper fascia center bracket.
