Preliminary Procedures

1. Remove the tires and wheels. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
2. Separate the rear adjustment link from the suspension knuckle. DO NOT loosen the adjustment jamb nut. Refer to Adjust Link Replacement .

Upper Shock Module Mounting Nut (Qty: 2)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
47 N·m (35 lb ft)

Lower Shock Module Mounting Nut (Qty: 2)

Tighten
28 N·m (21 lb ft)

Tip
Remove the shock module toward the rear of the vehicle.
