Condition
The power sliding side door is bound or the plastic coating on the cable that pulls the door is chafed.
Cause
This condition may be caused by the hole in the body that the cable goes through on the "C" pillar. Refer to the illustration above.
Correction
With the cable and the grommet removed, file the sheet metal to provide clearance and coat the sheet metal following the GM4901M-D-2004. Refer to the arrow in the illustration above.
