Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 859160 Size: SH
  1. Remove the right windshield garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement in Interior Trim.
  2. Partially remove the upper portion of the right front door opening weatherstrip. Refer to Front Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement in Doors.
  3. Remove the right sunshade. Refer to Sunshade Replacement in Interior Trim.
  4. Partially lower the right front corner of the headliner.
  5. Disconnect the antenna cables from the antenna base cable connectors.

    6. Object Number: 1132311 Size: SH
  6. Remove the antenna base bolt.

    7. Object Number: 878369 Size: SH
  7. Disengage the retainers at the inside of the roof.

    8. Object Number: 956421 Size: SH
  8. Remove the antenna base assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 878369 Size: SH
  1. Route the antenna base cables through the roof opening.

    2. Object Number: 859160 Size: SH
  2. Install the antenna base to the roof.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1132311 Size: SH
  3. Secure the antenna base with the bolt.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

  4. Connect the antenna cables to the antenna base cable connectors.
  5. Raise the headliner into position.
  6. Install the right sunshade. Refer to Sunshade Replacement in Interior Trim.
  7. Fully install the right front door opening weatherstrip. Refer to Front Door Opening Weatherstrip Replacement in Doors.
  8. Install the right windshield garnish molding. Refer to Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement Interior Trim.
