Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 320097 Size: SH
  1. Remove the sliding door opening weatherstrip from the sliding door pinch-weld flange.
  2. Clean all adhesive from the pinch-weld flange.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 320097 Size: SH

    Important: A mastic/sealer/glue is inside of the newsliding door opening weatherstrip. If you are using a newsliding door opening weatherstrip, DO NOT use weatherstrip adhesive.

    If you are using the oldsliding door weatherstrip, use weatherstrip adhesive.

  1. Remove the sliding door opening weatherstrip to the sliding door pinch-weld flange.
  2. Align the locator dot to the upper front corner and upper rear corners of the sliding door pinch-weld flange:
    3. • The pink dot indicates a long wheel base.
    • The yellow dot indicates a short wheel base.
  3. Install the remainder of the sliding door opening weatherstrip.
  4. Roll the weatherstrip onto the flange.
  5. Ensure that the weatherstrip corners are fully seated.
  6. DO NOT stretch the front door opening weatherstrip during the installation.

    7. Object Number: 319732 Size: SH
  7. Join the loose end of the front door opening weatherstrip to the seated end.

    8. Important: Removing the tear strip is designed to pull the inner lip of the sliding door opening weatherstrip out over the trim. Spoon the sliding door opening weatherstrip in order to complete the installation as needed.

    Inspect the sliding door opening weatherstrip for creases or wrinkles.

  8. Pull the end of the tear strip from the joint along the entire length of the sliding door opening weatherstrip.
