Power Mirror Replacement With Turn Signal Indicator

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  2. Remove the cowl side trim panel. Refer to Cowl Side Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  3. Remove the closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

  4. Object Number: 756251  Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the outside rearview mirror turn signal indicator electrical connector.
  6. Route the outside rearview mirror turn signal indicator electrical harness through the opening in the side of the instrument panel and through the rubber conduit into the inner front door.

  7. Object Number: 319763  Size: SH
  8. Disconnect the outside rearview mirror electrical connectors.
  9. Remove the outside rearview mirror nuts.
  10. Remove the outside rearview mirror from the front door.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 319763  Size: SH
  1. Route the outside rearview mirror turn signal indicator electrical harness through the opening in the front door panel, through the rubber conduit and through the opening into the side of the instrument panel.
  2. Position the outside rearview mirror to the front door.
  3. Connect the outside rearview mirror electrical connectors.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the outside rearview mirror nuts.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  7. Connect the outside rearview mirror turn signal indicator electrical connector.
  8. Install the closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  9. Install the cowl side trim panel. Refer to Cowl Side Trim Panel Replacement in Interior Trim.
  10. Install the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .

Power Mirror Replacement Without Turn Signal Indicator

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to Front Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .
  2. Remove the outside rearview mirror nuts.
  3. Disconnect the mirror electrical connectors.

  5. Remove the outside rearview mirror from the front door.

Installation Procedure

  1. Position the outside rearview mirror to the front door.
  2. Connect the mirror electrical connectors.
