Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the bezel. Refer to Floor Console Accessory Power Receptacle Replacement .
  2. Remove the DVD Player. Refer to Video Disc Player Replacement in Entertainment.
  3. Remove the center console screws.

  4. Object Number: 787780  Size: SH
  5. Slide the floor console out from the floor console bracket assembly.

  6. Object Number: 787778  Size: SH
  7. Remove the bolts from the floor console bracket.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 787780  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  1. Install the bolts to the floor console bracket.
  2. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  3. Slide the floor console and install the screws to the floor console bracket assembly.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the DVD player. Refer to Video Disc Player Replacement in Entertainment.
  6. Install the bezel to the floor console. Refer to Floor Console Accessory Power Receptacle Replacement .
