For 1990-2009 cars only
  1. Use solvent to clean the leak area.
  2. Use compressed air to dry the area.
  3. Caution: Epoxy adhesive may cause skin irritations and eye damage. Read and follow all information on the container label as provided by the manufacturer.

  4. Follow the manufacturer's recommendations to mix a sufficient amount of GM P/N 1052533, or equivalent, epoxy cement.
  5. Use a clean and dry soldering acid brush to apply the epoxy cement while the transaxle case is hot.
  6. Allow the epoxy cement to cure for three hours.
  7. Start the engine.
  8. Repeat the fluid leak diagnosis procedures.
