J 36660-A Torque Angle Meter

1. Install the lower intake manifold gaskets.
2. Use the following steps in order to install the pushrods.

•	Install the pushrods in their original location.

•	Coat the ends of the pushrods with prelube GM P/N 1052365 or equivalent.

•	The intake valve pushrods measure 144 mm (5.75 in) long.

•	Exhaust valve pushrods measure 152.5 mm (6.0 in) long.

3. Install the rocker arms in their original positions. Coat the rocker arm friction surfaces with prelube GM P/N 1052365 or equivalent.
4. Install the rocker arm bolt.

Tighten
Use the J 36660-A in order to tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in) plus 30 degrees.

Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
