DTC Descriptor

DTC B1011: System Disabled Information Stored

Circuit/System Description

The power sliding door module (PSDM) can detect when the clutch assembly cable is not connected. A disconnected or broken cable, cable bracket or a cable fastener are the only events which can cause the DTC to be set. Except for the serial data communications circuits, no electrical circuits are involved in the setting of this DTC.

Conditions for Running the DTC

A power sliding door close function is attempted.

Conditions for Setting the DTC

The PSDM has detected that the power sliding door motor and clutch assembly cable is no longer connected.

Action Taken When the DTC Sets

All further power operation is inhibited.

Conditions for Clearing the DTC

    • The DTC will be current for as long as the cable failure is present.
    • When the failed cable assembly has been replaced, the DTC will be cleared due to PSDM being unpugged or power disconnected.

Circuit/System Verification

Inspect the cable assembly on the power sliding door. If the cable assembly is broken, replace the cable assembly.
