Automatic Level Control Sensor Link Ball Stud Replacement Twist Axle

1. Remove the ELC/TRAILER fuse.
2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .




Important: When removing the link, do NOT bend or break the sensor arm.

3. Remove the automatic level control sensor link from the tie rod ball stud.
4. Remove the ball stud from the rear axle tie rod.

1. Install the ball stud to the rear axle tie rod.

Tighten
Tighten the height sensor ball stud to 12 N·m (106 lb in).

2. Install the automatic level control sensor link to the tie rod ball stud.
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. Install the ELC/TRAILER fuse.
