Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the oil filter. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 761792 Size: SH
  2. Remove the oil filter adapter.

    3. Object Number: 761793 Size: SH
  3. Remove the oil filter bypass valve.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 761793 Size: SH
  1. Install the oil filter bypass valve.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 761792 Size: SH
  2. Install the oil filter adapter and tighten to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).
  3. Install the oil filter. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement.
