  1. Install the timing chain tensioner.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

    3. Install the timing chain tensioner bolts. Tighten the timing chain tensioner bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the timing chain tensioner guide.
  4. Install the timing chain tensioner guide bolts. Tighten the timing chain tensioner guide bolts to 12 N·m (107 lb in).

    5. Object Number: 637584 Size: SH
  5. Install the timing chain tensioner shoe.
  6. Install the timing chain tensioner shoe bolt. Tighten the timing chain tension shoe bolt to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

    7. Object Number: 748324 Size: SH
  7. Install the cylinder head access hole plugs. Tighten the cylinder head access hole plugs to 5 N·m (44 lb in).
