Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 470831 Size: SH
  1. Open the rear door or endgate.
  2. Open the rubber cap (2) on the rear door jamb switch in order to gain access to the switch mounting screw (1).
  3. Remove the screw (1) which secures the rear door jamb switch.

  4. Position the rear door jamb switch (2) away from the body in order to gain access to the switch electrical connector (1).
  5. Disconnect the rear door jamb switch electrical connector (1).
  6. Remove the rear door jamb switch (2) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Connect the rear door jamb switch electrical connector (1).

    2. Object Number: 470831 Size: SH
  2. Install the rear door jamb switch to the door jamb. Secure the switch with the screw (1).
  3. Close the rubber cap (2) on the rear door jamb switch.
  4. Close the rear door or endgate.
