Verify that the right turn signal indicator is inoperative.

Is the right turn signal indicator inoperative?

Go to Step 3

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections

1. Disconnect the instrument cluster connector 3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
3. Turn the turn signal switch to the RIGHT position.
4. Connect a test lamp between terminal 1 and ground.

Does the test lamp flash?

Go to Step 5

Repair the open in the GRN/YEL wire between S261 and the instrument cluster C3,cavity 8. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 6

Repair the open in the BLK wire between the instrument cluster connector 2 terminal 10 and S248. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 6

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
