Side Marker Lamps Inoperative Left

Verify that the left side marker lamp is inoperative.

Is the left side marker lamp inoperative?

Go to Step 3

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections

  1. Turn the light switch to the ON position.
  2. Test for battery voltage at terminal 2 of the left side marker lamp assembly connector.

Is battery voltage present?

Go to Step 5

Go to Step 4

Repair the open in the RED/YEL wire between the left side marker lamp assembly and S217. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 6

Repair the open in the BLK wire between the left side marker lamp assembly and S202. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring Systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 6

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
