The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some customers may comment on a condition with the rear camera display in the inside the rearview mirror has a blank screen when shifting into reverse.
Recommendation/Instructions:
This may be caused by a loose or disconnected connector (X322) behind the right side C pillar trim. If you experience this concern, examine the 10 pin connection that is behind the passengers side "C" pillar trim (located right in front of the rear hvac
case if equipped) and repair as needed. See Photo Below
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
