Preliminary Procedures

1. Disable roof rail SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling.
2. Remove center pillar lower garnish molding. Refer to Center Pillar Lower Garnish Molding Replacement.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Center Pillar Upper Garnish Molding Assembly

Tip

1. Remove seat belt D-ring from the adjuster assembly.
2. Pull garnish molding toward inside of the vehicle to disengage the retainers.
3. Align 4-way locator to center pillar before engaging retainers.

Tighten
35 N·m (25 lb ft)
