Policy Statement

Labor Time allowances are published for the purpose of implementing the terms of the current Dealer Sales and Service Agreement. This publication is intended as a guide for the purpose of computing the compensation payable to authorized dealers/retailers for the performance of warranty, policy, and other authorized and approved work, on GM vehicles. The use of these allowances for any other purposes will be at the discretion of each dealer/retailer. All time allowances are subject to change without prior notification, based on improved methods, techniques or equipment, dealer averages, or other advances in the industry.

LABOR TIME GUIDE INFORMATION IS UPDATED AND PRODUCED PERIODICALLY THROUGHOUT THE YEAR. PLEASE RETAIN PREVIOUS LTG INFORMATION AS NECESSARY FOR REFERENCE.

The GM Service Policies and Procedures manual or other appropriate GM publications, such as Warranty Administration bulletins, should always be referenced as the source documentation for specific policy, coverage, warranty claim, or administration information.
