Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the window glass. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement .
  3. Remove the window glass regulator. Refer to Door Window Regulator Replacement .
  4. Remove the inside door handle. Refer to Door Inside Handle Replacement .
  5. Remove the outside door handle. Refer to Door Outside Handle Replacement .
  6. Remove the door lock actuator. Refer to Front Side Door Lock Actuator Replacement .
  7. Remove the weather-strip from the door. Refer to Front Side Door Weatherstrip Replacement .
  8. Disconnect the door wire harness. Refer to Door Wiring Harness Replacement .

  9. Remove the door check link bolt from the pillar side.
  10. Remove the bolts from the upper and the lower door hinges
  11. With an assistant lift the door up from the hinge pins and remove the door from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 348485 Size: SH
  1. With an assistant install the door to the vehicle by setting the door down on the hinge pins.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the bolts to the upper and the lower door hinges.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the hinge bolts to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the door check link bolt to the pillar side.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the door check link bolt to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  4. Connect the door wire harness. Refer to Door Wiring Harness Replacement .
  5. Install the weather-strip to the door. Refer to Front Side Door Weatherstrip Replacement .
  6. Install the door lock actuator. Refer to Front Side Door Lock Actuator Replacement .
  7. Install the outside door handle. Refer to Door Outside Handle Replacement .
  8. Install the inside door handle. Refer to Door Inside Handle Replacement .
  9. Install the window regulator. Refer to Door Window Regulator Replacement .
  10. Install the window glass. Refer to Front Side Door Window Replacement .
  11. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  12. Inspect the alignment of the door. Refer to Door Adjustment .
