Outside Rearview Mirror Replacement Power Mirror

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the trim panel upper extension. Refer to Upper Extension Trim Panel Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 373620  Size: SH
  3. Remove the insulator, if equipped.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector.

  5. Object Number: 373629  Size: SH
  6. Remove the nuts securing the outside mirror to the door.
  7. Remove the mirror from the door.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 373629  Size: SH
  1. Install the outside mirror to the door. Press the mirror into place.

  2. Object Number: 373620  Size: SH
  3. Connect the electrical connector.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the nuts in order to secure the outside mirror to the door.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the outside mirror nuts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  7. Install the insulator, if equipped.
  8. Install the trim panel upper extension. Refer to Upper Extension Trim Panel Replacement .

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front door trim panel upper extension. Refer to Upper Extension Trim Panel Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 373629  Size: SH
  3. Remove the nuts that retain the outside mirror to the door.
  4. Remove the outside mirror from the door.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 373629  Size: SH
  1. Install the rearview mirror to the door, pressing the outside mirror into place.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
