Heater and Air Conditioning Control Replacement Heat Only

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the instrument panel (IP) bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  2. Remove the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement in Entertainment.

    3. Object Number: 363024 Size: SH
  3. Remove the HVAC control assembly by firmly depressing and holding the retaining tabs. Slide the assembly forward.

    4. Object Number: 363027 Size: SH
  4. Disconnect the temperature and the mode cables from the back of the HVAC control assembly.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connection from the HVAC control assembly.
  6. Remove the HVAC control assembly.

Installation Procedure
  1. Connect the electrical connection to the HVAC control assembly.

    2. Object Number: 363027 Size: SH
  2. Connect the temperature and the mode cables to the back of the HVAC control assembly.

    3. Object Number: 363024 Size: SH
  3. Install the HVAC control assembly to the IP carrier until you hear an audible snap.
  4. Install the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement in Entertainment.
  5. Install the IP bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

Heater and Air Conditioning Control Replacement Heat and A/C

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the instrument cluster trim plate bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.
  2. Remove the instrument panel storage tray.
  3. Remove the inflatable restaint module switch from the instrument panel. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Instrument Panel Module Replacement in Restaints.

    4. Object Number: 363018 Size: SH
  4. Remove the HVAC control assembly.
    5. 4.1. Release the retaining tabs.
    4.2. Pull the control head out of the instrument panel carrier.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the HVAC control assembly.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 363018 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connectors to the HVAC control assembly.
  2. Install the HVAC control assembly.
  3. Install the inflatable restaint module switch to the instrument panel. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Instrument Panel Module Replacement in Restaints.
  4. Install the instrument panel storage tray.
  5. Install the instrument cluster trim plate bezel. Refer to Instrument Panel Cluster Trim Plate Bezel Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges, and Console.
  6. Calibrate the HVAC module actuators. Refer to Actuator Recalibration in HVAC Systems - Automatic.
