Some owners may want to remove the brush guard from their vehicle. When the brush guard is removed, do not re-use the fasteners that retain the brush guard and the right and left tow hooks to the vehicle.
Discard the current brush guard and tow hook fasteners and use new bolts (3), P/N 11509421, to re-install the left and right tow hooks (2) to the vehicle.
Tighten
Tighten the tow hook bolts to 60 N·m (44 lb ft).
After installing the tow hooks, plug the four bumper holes by installing new push pins, P/N 15769364, and retainer nuts, P/N 15769365 as shown.
