Important: Before filling the transfer case, refer to Corporate Bulletin Number
99-04-21-006 for proper fluid usage.
This bulletin contains information regarding a revised transfer case
front output shaft seal, P/N 12474947. This new seal replaces P/N 12547656
on the above listed vehicles. The change in the seal required a change in
the tool used to install the revised seal from J 35870 to J 43484.
Kent-Moore shipped J 43484 essential to dealers in September, 1999.
Notice: Due to the increased pressure needed to properly install the new seal
in the transfer case, always use J 43484 with universal driver handle
J 8092. Failure to do so may result in damage to the seal and/or case.
