Preliminary Procedure

1. Open and support the rear liftgate assembly.
2. Disengage the high mounted stop lamp electrical harness grommet and connector from the rear body panel.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
10 N·m (89 lb in)

Retainer Pin (Qty: 3)

Procedure

1. Release the retainer pins and push upward on the rear edge of the applique.
2. Slide the applique to the left in order to release the applique hinges from the liftgate hinge pins.
3. Remove the applique from the vehicle.

Tip
Transfer the high mounted stop assembly. Refer to High Mount Stop Lamp Replacement .
