Front Floor Panel Carpet Replacement Pickup

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .
  2. Remove the front door sill plates. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  3. Remove the seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.
  4. Remove the floor storage console. Refer to Console Replacement .
  5. Remove the center seat, if equipped. Refer to Front Center Seat Replacement in Seats.
  6. Remove the shift lever and boot, if equipped. Refer to Shift Lever Replacement in Manual Transmission NV 3500, or to Shift Lever Replacement in Manual Transmission NV 4500.
  7. Remove the jack assembly. Refer to Jack and Tool Stowage Replacement in Body Rear End.
  8. Remove the quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement .
  9. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) supporting post lower bolt. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

  11. Remove the carpet from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 276934  Size: SH

    Caution: In order to avoid personal injury or vehicle damage when you repair or replace the carpet, use the same thickness and material size as the original installation. Always return the carpet to the original location.

  1. Install the carpet to the vehicle.
  2. Install the I/P supporting post lower bolt. Refer to Instrument Panel Carrier Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  3. Install the rear quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Quarter Trim Panel Replacement .
  4. Install the jack assembly. Refer to Jack and Tool Stowage Replacement in Body Rear End.
  5. Install the shift lever and boot, if equipped. Refer to Shift Lever Replacement in Manual Transmission NV 3500, or to Shift Lever Replacement in Manual Transmission NV 4500.
  6. Install the center seat, if equipped. Refer to Front Center Seat Replacement in Seats.
  7. Install the floor storage console. Refer to Console Replacement .
  8. Install the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.
  9. Install the front door sill plates. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  10. Install the hinge pillar trim panel. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .

Front Floor Panel Carpet Replacement Utility

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.
  2. Remove the rear seats. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement in Seats.
  3. Remove the front center seat. Refer to Front Center Seat Replacement in Seats.
  4. Remove the floor center console, if equipped. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  5. Remove the lower bracket from the I/P to the floor to allow carpet removal.
  6. Remove the door sill trim plates. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement and to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  7. Remove the hinge pillar trim panels from both sides. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .
  8. Remove the garnish molding center pillar trim. Refer to Center Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .

  10. Remove the carpet.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the carpet.
  2. Install the garnish molding center pillar trim. Refer to Center Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement .
  3. Install the hinge pillar trim panels. Refer to Body Hinge Pillar Trim Panel Replacement .
  4. Install the door sill trim plates. Refer to Front Side Door Sill Plate Replacement and to Rear Side Door Sill Plate Replacement .
  5. Install the lower bracket from the I/P to the floor.
  6. Install the floor center console, if equipped. Refer to Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  7. Install the front center seats, if equipped. Refer to Front Center Seat Replacement in Seats.
  8. Install the rear seats. Refer to Rear Seat Replacement in Seats.
  9. Install the front seats. Refer to Front Seat Replacement - Bucket in Seats.
