Front Seat Armrest Replacement Bucket

Removal Procedure

  1. Release the bottom edge of the seat back cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement .

  2. Object Number: 300285  Size: SH
  3. Use a small bladed tool in order to release the clip (10) retaining the armrest (9) to the seat back.

  4. Object Number: 276300  Size: SH
  5. Pull the armrest from the seat back.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 300285  Size: SH
  1. Install the retaining clip to the seat back, and ensure that the retaining clip (10) is fully seated.
  2. Install the armrest (9) to the seat back.
  3. Press on the armrest in order to engage the armrest with the retaining clip in the seat back.
  4. Secure the bottom edge of the seat back cover. Refer to Front Seat Back Cushion Cover and Cushion Pad Replacement .

Front Seat Armrest Replacement Bench and Split Bench

Removal Procedure

  1. Fold the right side of the rear seat forward to gain access to the armrest trim cover and bolts.

  2. Object Number: 276555  Size: SH
  3. Remove the armrest trim cover (7).
  4. Remove the armrest bolts (6).
  5. Remove the armrest by sliding off the pivot and out.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 276555  Size: SH
  1. Install the rear seat armrest to the pivot point on the rear seat.
  2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  3. Install the armrest bolts (6).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  5. Install the armrest trim cover (7) and screws.
  6. Fold the right rear seat back into the upright position.
