Go to Exterior Lights System Check

1. Remove the center high-mounted stoplamp.
2. Connect a test lamp between the center high-mounted stoplamp, cavity A for CKT 17 (WHT), and ground.
3. Depress the brake pedal.

Does the test lamp light?

1. Connect a test lamp between cavity A and cavity B.
2. Depress the brake pedal.

Does the test lamp light?

Go to Step 6

Go to Step 4

Repair the open in CKT 150 (BLK) between splice S421 and ground G400. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Exterior Lights System Check

--

Repair the open in CKT 17 (WHT) between splice S410 and splice S422. Refer to Wiring Repairs in Wiring systems.

Is the repair complete?

--

Go to Exterior Lights System Check

--

Replace the center high-mounted stoplamp. Refer to High Mount Stop Lamp Replacement .
