DT 47524 (DW 260-190) Low Clutch Spring Compressor

1. Remove the snap ring. Then remove each plate.




Important: Do not apply undue stress to the retainer.

2. Using DT 47524  (1), depress the cancel cover and remove the snap ring. Then remove the cancel cover and the return spring.

Caution: Refer to Safety Glasses and Compressed Air Caution in the Preface section.





Important: Air must be blown gradually at low pressure so as not to tilt the low clutch piston.

Important: If the low clutch piston is hard to remove by blowing air pull it out by using pliers.

3. Blow air into the oil inlet of the low clutch drum (2) to drive out the low clutch piston.
