Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1201426 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the electrical connector from the air filter housing.
  2. Disconnect the intake tube clamp (2).
  3. Disconnect the air intake tube from the air filter housing (1).

    4. Object Number: 1201454 Size: SH
  4. Remove the snorkel bolt (1).
  5. Remove the air filter housing bolts (2).
  6. Remove the air filter housing (3), resonator, and snorkel assembly from the bracket (4).

    7. Object Number: 1202081 Size: SH
  7. Remove the snorkel from the resonator pressing the part of hook (1).
  8. Remove the resonator (2) from the air filter housing pressing the art of hook (4).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1202081 Size: SH
  1. Install the resonator to the air filter housing (2).
  2. Install the snorkel the resonator (1).

    3. Object Number: 1201454 Size: SH
  3. Install the snorkel assembly, resonator, and air filter housing (3) onto bracket (4).

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install air filter housing bolts (2).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to: 7-9 N·m (62-80 lb-in)

  5. Install the snorkel bolt (1).

    6. Object Number: 1201426 Size: SH
  6. Connect the air intake tube to the air filter housing (1).
  7. Connect the electrical connector on the air filter housing.
