Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1201426 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the intake tube clamp (2).
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the air filter housing.
  3. Disconnect the air intake tube from the air filter housing (1).

    4. Object Number: 1201454 Size: SH
  4. Remove the snorkel bolt (1).
  5. Remove the air filter housing bolts (2).
  6. Remove the air filter housing, resonator, and snorkel assembly (3) from the bracket (4).

    7. Object Number: 1202081 Size: SH

    Important: Remove the air filter, resonator, and snorkel assembly separately.

  7. Remove the snorkel from the resonator pressing the part of hook (3).
  8. Remove the resonator (2) from the air filter housing pressing the part of hook (4).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1202810 Size: SH
  1. Install the resonator on to the air filter housing.
  2. Install the snorkel on to the resonator.
  3. Install the air filter housing, resonator, and snorkel assembly to the bracket.

    4. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  4. Install the air filter housing and snorkel bolts.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the fuel tank strap bolts to 7-9 N·m (62-80 lb in).

  5. Connect the air intake tube on the air filter housing (1).
  6. Connect electrical connector to the air filter housing.
  7. Connect the intake tube clamp (2).
