Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1225011 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the engine control module (ECM) connector.

    2. Object Number: 1225003 Size: SH
  2. Remove the ECM bolts.
  3. Remove the ECM.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1225062 Size: SH

    Important: If disconnecting the battery cable to the ECM, the IAC valve reset procedure should be performed.

  1. Install the ECM with the bolts.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the ECM mounting bolts to 6-8 N·m (53-71 lb in).

  2. Connect the ECM connector.
  3. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
