DT 47525 (DW 260-200) Reverse Clutch Spring Compressor

1. Remove the snap ring, then remove each plate.




Important: Do not apply undue stress to the retainer.

2. Using DT 47525  (1), depress the spring retainer and remove the snap ring. Then remove the return spring.

Important: Air must be blown gradually at low pressure so as not to tilt reverse clutch piston. If the reverse clutch piston is hard to remove by blowing air, pull it out using pliers.

3. Blow air into the oil inlet of the reverse clutch drum (1) to drive out the reverse clutch piston.
