1. Disconnect the engine control module (ECM) connector.



2. Remove the ECM bolts and the ECM.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Important: If disconnecting the battery cable to the ECM, the idle air controI (AC) valve reset procedure should be performed.

Install the ECM with the bolts.

Tighten
Tighten the ECM mounting bolts to 6-8 N·m (53-71 lb in).
