Intermittent Low Coolant Message - keywords sccel acceleration dic lamp left light lo low on right turn

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Some owners may comment of an intermittent low coolant message. When inspecting the coolant level it will be in the normal operating range. Engineering has found that if the coolant level is at the minimum level, the low coolant message may be displayed during certain turning and acceleration maneuvers.

At this time slightly over filling the Coolant Surge Tank above the "Full Cold" mark should correct the concern. If over filling corrects the concern do not replace any components and GM Engineering is working on a correction.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
