Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1286888 Size: SH
  1. Cycle the folding top to the open position.

    2. Object Number: 1386454 Size: SH
  2. Loosen the retaining nuts to the body accessories compartment.
  3. Remove the cover to the body accessories compartment.

    4. Object Number: 1363437 Size: SH
  4. Remove the electrical connector from the daytime running lamp (DRL) diode (2).
  5. Remove the fastener (1).
  6. Remove the DRL diode from the body accessories compartment.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1363437 Size: SH
  1. Install the fastener (1).

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the fastener to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  2. Install the electrical connector to the DRL diode (2).

    3. Object Number: 1386454 Size: SH
  3. Install the cover to the body accessories compartment.
  4. Install the retaining nuts to the body accessories compartment.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 7 N·m (62 lb in).

  5. Close the folding top.
