Did you perform the Power Door Systems Diagnostic System Check?

Verify that the RF power window is inoperative from the RF switch.

Do the power windows operate normally?

Go to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems

Go to Step 3

  1. Access the side window lockout switch.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Connect a digital multimeter (DMM) to CKT 1001(DK GRN), terminal D at the side window lockout switch connector and ground.
  4. Test for voltage. Refer to Measuring Voltage in wiring systems.

Is battery voltage present?

B+

Go to Step 5

Locate and repair the open or the high resistance in CKT 1001 (DK GRN) between the left door lock and side window switch and the side window lockout switch. Refer to Testing for Continuity and Wiring Repairs in wiring systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 12

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  2. Place the side window lockout switch in the NORMAL (UNLOCKED) position.
  3. Connect a DMM to CKT 1307 (DK BLU), terminal B at the side window lockout switch connector and ground.
  4. Test for voltage. Refer to Measuring Voltage in wiring systems.

Is battery voltage present?

B+

Go to Step 9

Inspect for a poor connection at the side window lockout switch.

Is the connection OK?

Go to Step 8

Go to Step 7

Repair the connection as necessary.

Is the repair complete?

Replace the side window lockout switch.

Is the repair complete?

  1. Access the right door lock and side window switch.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  3. Place the side window lockout switch in the NORMAL (UNLOCKED) position.
  4. Connect a DMM to ground and CKT 1001 (DK GRN), terminal F at the right door lock and side window switch connector.
  5. Ensure that the connector remains connected.
  6. Test for voltage. Refer to Measuring Voltage in wiring systems.

Is battery voltage present?

B+

Go to Step 11

Locate and repair the open or the high resistance in CKT 1307 (DK BLU), terminal B at the side window lockout switch and S306, or CKT 100 (DK GRN) from S306 to terminal F at the right door lock and side window switch. Refer to Testing for Continuity and Wiring Repairs in wiring systems.

Is the repair complete?

Go to Step 12

Replace the right door lock and side window switch. Refer to Front Side Door Window Switch Replacement in doors.
