Removal Procedure

    Warning: Refer to Battery Disconnect Warning in the Preface section.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
  2. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement.
  3. Disconnect the connector on the sensor.

    4. Object Number: 2100022 Size: SH
  4. Remove the rear object alarm sensor (1) by turning the retainer (2).
  5. Pull out rear object alarm sensor (1) from the rear bumper fascia.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2100022 Size: SH
  1. Install the rear object alarm sensor (1) to the rear bumper fascia.
  2. Secure the rear object alarm sensor (1) by turning the retainer (2).
  3. Connect the electrical connector.
  4. Install the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Rear Bumper Fascia Replacement.
  5. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection.
