Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Vehicle Lifting Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1309223 Size: SH
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  3. Remove the front mud guard. Refer to Rear Mud Flap Guard Replacement in Exterior Trim.
  4. Remove the screws and the front wheel well splash shield.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1309223 Size: SH
  1. Install the screws and the front wheel well splash shield.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the front wheel well splash shield screws to 2 N·m (18 lb in).

  2. Install the front mud guard. Refer to Rear Mud Flap Guard Replacement in Exterior Trim.
  3. Install the front wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  4. Lower the vehicle.
