    Important: The timing belt should be replaced immediately in the event that defects are found during routine timing belt inspections.

  1. Inspect the belt for hardening. The belt will have a shiny appearance and will leave no mark when a fingernail is pressed into the backside of the belt.

  2. Object Number: 1860443  Size: SH
  3. Inspect the belt for tooth separation and cracking on the backside of the belt.

  4. Object Number: 1860444  Size: SH
  5. Inspect the belt for abnormal wear and torn areas on the edge of the belt.

  6. Object Number: 1860445  Size: MH
  7. Inspect the belt for missing or severely worn teeth and missing rubber or exposed fibers.
