Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement Monte Carlo

1. Remove the seat belt from the rear upper quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Retractor Replacement in Seat Belts.
2. Remove the coat hook from the rear upper trim panel. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement .
3. Remove the rear quarter upper trim in by disengaging the push-in retainers.

1. Align the rear quarter upper trim panel slotted retainers to the rear quarter lower trim panel.
2. Align the rear quarter upper trim panel push-in retainers to the rear quarter inner upper panel.
3. Install the rear quarter upper trim panel push-in retainers, applying pressure to secure at all push-in retainers locations.
4. Install the seat belt to the rear upper quarter trim panel. Refer to Rear Seat Belt Retractor Replacement in Seat Belts.
5. Install the coat hook to the rear upper quarter trim panel. Refer to Coat Hook Replacement .

Quarter Upper Trim Panel Replacement Impala

1. Pull down on the trim panel to disengage the clip retainers on the roof side rail.
2. Pull out to disengage the clips located at the bottom of the triangular window.
3. Slide the roof leg out from under the upper trim panel of the center pillar.



4. Remove the rear quarter upper trim panel.

1. Install a new dual-lock retainer to the rear quarter inner panel, if required.
2. Slide the roof leg under the upper trim panel of the center pillar.
3. Reposition the rear seat belt to the trim panel.



4. Align the push-in retainers from the trim panel with the slots by the triangular window.
5. Install the trim panel push-in retainers by applying pressure to secure all of the push-in retainer locations.



6. Align the trim panel to the clip retainers on the roof side rail.
7. Install the trim panel by applying upward pressure to the retainer locations until fully seated.
