Removal Procedure
- Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Disconnect the electrical connector from the ambient temperature sensor that is located on the front radiator air baffle.
- Remove the ambient temperature sensor from the radiator air baffle.
Installation Procedure
- Install the ambient temperature sensor to the radiator air baffle.
- Connect the electrical connector to the ambient temperature sensor.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Drive the vehicle at a speed of 32 km/h (20 mph) for approximately 1½ minutes or at a speed of 72 km/h (45 mph) for approximately 1 minute in order to obtain the ambient update.
