This bulletin is being revised to announce that submission of the 18 digit "Snapshot/Charge Summary" code is no longer required. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 05-01-38-008A (Section 01 - HVAC).

Important: The labor codes that are affected by this new requirement are D3000 through D4500.

This bulletin is being reissued to communicate that effective immediately, the 18 digit "Snapshot/Charge Summary" code is no longer required for Air Conditioning (A/C) refrigerant system repairs that are submitted for warranty reimbursement. The Electronically Generated Repair Data and printer feature has been discontinued from the ACR2000 replacement equipment (GE-48800 CoolTech) to reduce equipment costs. The charge summary data from before and after system repairs will continue to be required, but documented on the repair order only. Both high and low pressures, recovery and charge amounts should be noted during the repair and entered on the repair order. If using ACR2000 (J-43600), the "Snapshot/Charge Summary" printouts should be attached to the shop's copy of the repair order.
