Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 441656 Size: SH
  1. Remove the cross brace. Refer to Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement in Body Front End.
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the washer pump.
  3. Disconnect the washer hose from the washer pump.

    4. Object Number: 441663 Size: SH
  4. Remove the screw.
  5. Remove the two retainers and the washer solvent container.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 441663 Size: SH
  1. Install the washer solvent container with two retainers.

    2. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  2. Install the screw.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screw to 5 N·m (44 lb in)

  3. Connect the washer hose to the washer pump.
  4. Connect the electrical connector to the washer pump.
  5. Install the cross brace. Refer to Front End Sheet Metal Diagonal Brace Replacement in Body Front End.
